Training Workshops for Small Charities
The Foundation for Social Improvement is an organisation with over twelve years' experience delivering training and support to small charities across the UK. This January we will be working in partnership with Voluntary Action Leicestershire to deliver three of our most popular workshops: Developing Your Fundraising Strategy, Developing Corporate Relationships and Major Donor Fundraising.
Develop Your Fundraising Strategy: Session 10.45 am – 12.15 pm
A comprehensive and effective fundraising strategy is at the core of sustainability for any charity. This workshop will help you to consider a variety of fundraising options and consider their appropriateness for your cause, organisation and both short- and long-term needs.
Developing Corporate Relationships: Session 1.00 pm – 2.30 pm
With £1.8 billion total from private sector moving to the voluntary sector, corporate fundraising has many opportunities for the charity sector. This workshop has been designed to help you and your charity understand the opportunities for engaging and working with companies.
Major Donor Fundraising: Session 3.00 pm – 4.30 pm
A major gift is designated as one that is significant to the charity receiving it, so for a small charity, a major gift may start at £100. This workshop is designed to help you develop the skills and confidence to approach this group of donors.
Courses cost just £5 to attend for charities with an annual turnover of £1million or less.
