Is the Third Sector Sexist? Survey

Have you been involved in the UK third sector – now or in the past? We, a collective of women taking part in the Charityworks graduate scheme, are researching the extent of sexism and sexual harassment in the UK third sector. The survey will take between 5 and 15 minutes depending on your experience of this issue and how in depth you wish to respond.

As the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements gather momentum,  and in light of the expose on the Presidents Club charity gala and allegations of sexual exploitation by international aid workers for Oxfam in Haiti, we feel this research is timely.

We are interested in hearing from anyone who has been involved in the UK third sector at any point. We're keen to get a genuine cross-section of the sector, and welcome all responses about what you have – or have not - experienced and witnessed. It has the option to be anonymous.

This study will contribute to research by trainees on the Charityworks 2017 graduate training scheme; however, this survey is external to our individual jobs and is not an official part of the programme.

For more information about the survey, how the information will be used, and our wider research aims feel free to contact us at isthethirdsectorsexist[at]gmail[dot]com.
